Shell · monthly reports
Monthly debris-density reports.
Each edition is a signed, versioned PDF summarising the state of the LEO debris population as measured by Ephem's nightly SGP4 propagation of the CelesTrak active catalog. Ten tracked shells between 400 and 1,400 km, per-shell peak-density bins, and the month's added/removed objects. Methodology is the accompanying methodology PDF; nothing in a report contradicts anything there.
§1 Editions
| # | Month | File |

§2 Cadence and revision policy
One PDF per calendar month, dated by the report month, not the build date. The current month is regenerated on every nightly site build so intramonth adds and removals are reflected; when the month rolls over, the PDF for the previous month is frozen. If the propagator or binning changes, every prior edition is re-emitted with the same content but a new version tag in the footer — the numbers do not change, only the presentation. Structural changes trigger a new methodology PDF release, and are called out in the /log.
§3 How subscribers use these
Insurance underwriters and ADR planners cite these as the month-scale reference. The daily and per-request density values live at https://ephem-api.YOUR-SUBDOMAIN.workers.dev/shell/density/{alt}; the diff lives at https://ephem-api.YOUR-SUBDOMAIN.workers.dev/shell/diff. This page's job is the month-scale artefact — a single PDF you can hand to a regulator or paste into an operations doc without needing to explain the delivery pipeline.
